The same care we put into every valve, we put into the towns and villages around our Belgaum plant — clean water, skilling, health and a greener environment.

Our Philosophy

Business and the community it grows in are inseparable.

We believe a manufacturer is accountable for more than what leaves its loading bay. Prosperity that isn't shared isn't sustainable.

For Belgaum Aqua Valves, corporate social responsibility is not a department — it is how we operate. Our work touches water, energy and industry, so our responsibility naturally extends to the people and ecosystems that depend on them.

We measure our contribution the way we measure our engineering — across balanced dimensions of value: financial, natural, social, human and physical. Growth in one is meaningful only when it does not deplete the others.

Flagship Programme

Water for Belgaum: borewells, hand-pumps and clean supply.

It began as a single hand-pump repair in the village next to our Udyambag works. Fifteen years on, our clean-water programme funds new borewells, rehabilitates failed hand-pumps and installs community storage tanks across the drought-prone belt around Belgaum — so families spend less time carrying water and more time in school and at work.

Education & Skilling

Apprentice academy with the local ITI

Every year we take on trade apprentices from Belgaum's Industrial Training Institutes, pay them a stipend and train them across CNC machining, assembly and quality inspection. Many are hired on completion; the rest leave certified and employable.

Environment

Green-belt & monsoon plantation drive

Ahead of every monsoon, employees and their families plant and adopt native saplings along the plant boundary and in surrounding schools — building shade, holding soil and offsetting a share of our foundry's footprint.

Health & Safety

Community health & blood-donation camps

Our on-site medical team runs free general-health, eye and dental camps for workers' families and nearby villages, alongside quarterly blood-donation drives in partnership with the district hospital.

Community

School infrastructure support

We fund repairs that schools rarely can — roofing, drinking-water stations, benches and a computer room — so children in villages around Udyambag learn in classrooms that are safe, dry and connected.
